Azure Nigeria Community Conference 2023
Theme: Exploring Innovative Possibilities with OpenAI and Azure Technologies in Africa
The Microsoft Azure Community Conference was a spectacular event that took place on 28th October, 2023 at Yabatech Multipurpose Hall.
It featured a diverse and engaging lineup of speakers, panelists, and exhibitors who shared their insights and expertise on Microsoft Azure and Open AI.
The conference attracted 1595 attendees. They enjoyed games and giveaways, as well as learning from various adept speakers who delivered mind-blowing sessions on topics such as:

🌍 The importance of collaboration in technology and its driving force towards development in Africa, by Hakeem Fahm, former Lagos State commissioner for science and technology.
🌍 The potential and application of OpenAI and how this model can communicate fluently in any language of your choice, by Scott Hanselman.
🌍 How to harness the power of Azure technology to better your productivity and automation, by Olatomiwa Williams.
🌍 How early adoption of AI transformed his life at an early age, by David Lanre Messan.
🌍 How to foster inclusivity in the tech industry, by Egharevba Stephanie.
🌍 Funding a startup in Africa by Nnaemeka Kingsley, Bukola Gentry, and Gerald Black in a lively panel session.
🌍 The role of AI in the work industry today by Osinachi Chukwujama, Ayotunde Ayoola, Ezine Orimoloye, and Imoh Etuk in an amazing panel session.
🌍 Two breakout sessions where Bunmi Akinremi and Samuel Bamgbola shared their brilliant knowledge on OpenAI.
The event also featured representatives from LawPavilion Business Solution and YNV Groups, two companies that leverage AI to deliver better and faster solutions in their respective domains.
The conference ended on a high note, with Oluwatobi Okafor winning the giveaway Laptop prize. It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone who attended.
